Art Therapists from 35 countries present the newest in best practice and research. This conference is of interest to arts therapists and colleagues wishing to extend their skills and knowledge, make new contacts and build networks. Refreshments & lunch are included in the fee.

Over the three days, the program offers a wealth of learning from practice innovation, research, workshops, masterclasses, round table and networking events. Keynote speakers are:

Thursday morning: Lynn Kapitan & Ephrat Huss on socially-engaged research.

Thursday afternoon: Lord Howarth of Newport, Donna Betts and Susan Hogan on arts in health, arts therapies and Public health.

Friday morning: Dr Rodney Adeniyi-Jones on Imagery and relational physiology, with respondents Val Huet & Neil Springham on implications for art therapy practice and research.

Saturday morning: Dr Iain McGilchrist and panel presentation from Girija Kaimal, Juliet King, Christianne Strang on art therapy and Neuroscience.

Attending the conference qualifies for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) certification from BAAT. The Art Therapy Credentials Board (ATCB) will also accept continuing education earned. CPD certificates will be issued by BAAT after the conference Please note that as stated in our call for papers,  the conference will be conducted in English and we are sadly not able provide simultaneous translations as this would have made the fee for tickets very expensive. 

Also join us for the end of conference party on Saturday evening to celebrate the event with friends and colleagues. There is an additional party fee of £50 which includes a drink on arrival, a buffet and a disco (select the option including the party fee when you book)..
