Guardian Advancing Healthcare Award for Arts Therapists

02 November 2016

The new Guardian Award for innovation in mental health services is aimed particularly at those working in the Arts Therapies.

BAAT would like to encourage members to nominate your valuable and much needed Art Therapy practice for the 2017 Advancing Healthcare Awards.

This year we are proud to announce a new Guardian award for innovation in mental health services aimed particularly at those working in the Arts Therapies!

This award aims to find and showcase Allied Health Professionals throughout the UK, working in the NHS, local government, the independent or third sectors, who have devised unusual or creative ways of working with people who have mental health problems. The Advanced Healthcare Awards are particularly keen to recognise the work of art, music and dramatherapists.

There is also a new Health Education England and National Institute for Health Research award to find research champions among Allied Health Professionals and Healthcare Scientists.

You have until 13 January 2017 to enter the Advancing Healthcare Awards.
