Thanks to Whittaker Scott, departing Editor in Chief of the International Journal of Art Therapy: Inscape

19 December 2017

Whittaker Scott has come to the end of his 3-year tenure as Editor in Chief of IJAT: Inscape...

Over past 3 years, Whittaker has led IJAT’s continued growth and development, one notable feature of which has been the increase from three to four issues per year. Whittaker’s tenure ends on 31st December but he has kindly offered to provide support to Susan Carr, Alex McDonald and Neil Springham who will be co-editing IJAT until a successor is in place. We expect this will be soon as the post has already been advertised.

The role of editor is a very rewarding but also demanding one that requires attention to detail, a sense of the bigger picture, decisiveness and sensitivity. I hope BAAT members and readers will echo my thanks to Whittaker for how he has demonstrated these qualities and for the commitment he has shown to the role.
