BiographyProf Joy Schaverien

Professor Joy Schaverien PhD is in private practice as a Jungian Analyst (in Rutland).  Professor Associate in Art Psychotherapy at University of Sheffield and a member of the teaching staff of the C.G. Jung Institute of Copenhagen. Her publications include The Revealing Image (Jessica Kingsley 1991), Desire and the Female Therapist: Engendered Gazes in Psychotherapy and Art therapy (Routledge 1995) and The Dying Patient in Psychotherapy: Desire, Dreams and Individuation (forthcoming from Palgrave/ Macmillan in 2002.) She is a Professional member of the Society of Analytical Psychology (London).
