Personal biography

Deena Northover has been working as an art psychotherapist since 1980 and qualified more recently as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist. She works part-time as an analytic art psychotherapist for an NHS Trust in Adult Mental Health within Community, Day Treatment, Acute and Psychiatric Intensive Care in-patient units.

She works privately as an art psychotherapist with children in permanent and specialist foster care and has a private practice as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist. She has also been the University of Exeter Art Therapy Foundation Course co-ordinator and tutor for several years.
