Non-statutory pay & conditions survey

The British Association for Art Therapists (BAAT) is undertaking this survey which is supported by the British Association for Dramatherapy (BADth), the Association for Dance/Movement Psychotherapy UK (ADMP UK) and the Association for Professional Music Therapists (APMT). Please complete the survey if you do any work within the non-statutory sector. This includes: charities, private and independent practice.

We aim to establish greater parity of pay and improve conditions in the non-statutory sector through working together and linking with UNITE. Huge discrepancies exist in the way practitioners are paid, the amount they are paid for similar work, and the conditions in which they work.

By gathering information it will be possible to ascertain how many people are affected, and what the issues are. BAAT and also BADth, ADMP UK and APMT are encouraging their members to respond. It is hoped that we will then be able to convene a joint meeting with UNITE and decide how to proceed.

If you are employed in the non-statutory sector then completing the survey will be important and only takes a few minutes. Please click here.

Thank you.
