The International Journal of Art Therapy: Inscape is the peer-reviewed journal of the British Association of Art Therapists. It is published twice yearly.

Inscape is now published by The Taylor and Francis Group. As well as publishing the paper version they provide an on-line searchable index of articles in current and previous (from vol. 10 onwards) issues of Inscape.

Click here to go to the Inscape section of the Taylor and Francis site where you can see details of the latest and recent issues, order subscription, order sample copies, etc. They also offer a contents alert service (SARA) and various search facilities.

Subscriptions

BAAT members receive Inscape as part of their membership package. Click here for information about BAAT membership.

Submission & peer review

The submission and peer review process for Inscape is changing: among other benefits to members will be enhanced anonymous peer review standards, more structured feedback and clear lines of progression. This will enable the journal to apply for prestigious research databases such as PsychInfo. Moreover, closer links between BAAT and T&F have resulted in printed colour images and the potential for increased distribution and online publishing.

The BAAT will shortly advertise for a new post of Editor, and changes will be posted on this website as they happen. In the meantime, we do welcome submissions from authors, and if you wish to submit an article please do so by emailing it to rart@tandf.co.uk.
