Art Therapy Foundation Course London
THURSDAY EVENINGS 6.15pm to 8.15pm 15th April 2010 to 1st July 2010
Venue: Claremont, 24 -27 White Lion Street, London N1 9PD (Near Angel Tube Station)
This course is intended for people who may consider Art Therapy as a career, and want to train as an Art Therapist. It is also useful for healthcare workers who want to gain a better understanding of Art within a care context. This course offers an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of Art Therapy with different client groups, as all speakers are experienced Art Therapists presenting clinical work from their own art therapy practice. It also has an experiential element, as Art Therapy experiential workshops are also included. No previous formal experience of art making is required, but it is important to be prepared to take part in artwork.
It will run on Thursday evenings from 6.15 pm to 8.15 pm, with three Saturdays of experiential Art Therapy workshops. The course will commence on Thursday, 15th April 2010 and the final date will be Thursday, 1st July 2010. The three experiential workshop Saturdays, which all participants are expected to attend, will be on 24th April, 8th & 22nd May 2010.
Fee: £420 (payment in 2 x £210 instalments may be arranged – one with current date and one dated 15th April 2010). The fee includes a course pack with selected articles.
