A Taste of some of the events we will be running throughout the show:

  • Education Programme
  • Notions of Recovery
    • What does "Recovery" mean in the context of Personality Disorder? How can we get the things we want out of life when we still struggle with the complexity of our condition and the wider issues that surround it? How can we discover our capacity for personal growth, realize our true potential? And uncover unique talents and abilities? This unique presentation and debate will focus on the role creativity can play in a collective experience of belonging to self and others.
  • Artist's………..Talk
    • 2 artists showing work will discuss their relationship with art, life and PD.. This talk forms part of a series of talks run at Tate Modern London and Carriage Work Leeds.
  • Theatre Tonic and Resurgence Theatre
    • Performances by these acclaimed theatre companies which dramatise a moving collection of personal stories given by people with the diagnosis of PD. Originally commissioned for the Tate Modern 2007 and a new piece written in 2009 for the National PD Congress in Birmingham 11/09.
