Judith Moss

BAAT Council Member 2007 - 2008

Biographical notes

Reflecting on my first year as a Council Member for Wales, the words, 'the office is greater than the man' come to mind. Therefore it is with humility that I offer myself to serve on Council for a second year. It has been baffling at times to learn about and contribute to the many issues that our expert team has to address but with kind support and patience from them I have mostly made sense of it all, kept up with minute reading, attended all meetings and hopefully achieved the important aim of serving Art Therapists in Wales.

As the AWNCATP (All Wales Network Committee for the Arts Therapies Professions) Art Therapy Representative, member of the Steering Group for the Arts and Health Strategy for Wales, it is a full time 'mission' to make sure our Profession has a voice and is named in that Strategy.

It is a privilege and inspiring to work alongside the Officers and Staff of BAAT and Council, who are committed, often beyond the call of duty, to serve our profession. I should like to continue to represent Wales on Council: to continue to be involved in the development of Art Therapy and Arts and Health in Wales, and to support interest shown in our 'hard won profession' internationally.
