My work as an art therapist has focused on inner city children with challenging behaviour both in mainstream and specialist units, with a particular interest in early developmental trauma. In 2006 I introduced Art Therapy to the North London CAMHS in Education Service where I continue to work as Senior Art Therapist. Prior to this I ran an art therapy project at a community city farm, with young people and under 5s, provided individual and group art therapy in schools and Pupil Referral Units in East, West and North London and was an Assistant project manager for the Place 2 Be. I am an active member of the BAAT SIGS; ATE and ATCAF, a peer reviewer for our professional journal Inscape and was a student representative on BAAT Council for two years.
As a multi media artist, I worked with the performance group trip on international projects and devised and ran educational workshops. Further Arts experience includes earlier careers in production design for the film and television industry and classical dance.
