Simon Hackett

BAAT Council Member 2009-2010

This is Simon Hackett's third year as a Council Member.  Simon has worked as an Art Psychotherapist in the NHS for the past ten years and manages a small team of Art, Drama, and Music Therapists working with people who have learning disabilities. He is also hoping to complete his PhD in Health & Social Care Research this year looking into evaluating therapeutic change within Art Psychotherapy for patients in an NHS forensic service.

"I am really interested in how we can support the great work of the Special Interest Groups in BAAT. They do an essential job through networking and supporting therapists. SIGs already play a massive part in the life of BAAT and I would like to see their role become even more effective".
