BAAT Short Courses

Below is the calendar of CPD courses for Art Therapists organised by BAAT. Most courses are suitable also for other arts therapists and related professions. Where the course is aimed specifically at Art Therapists this is stated.

An audit of feedback forms from the 2010 BAAT courses yielded high scores in participants' satisfaction:  74% were rated as 'very good', 15% as 'good' and 1% as 'average'. 74% of tutors were rated as 'very helpful' and 16% as 'Helpful'. The BAAT is very proud of these results and will continue to ensure it provides high quality trainings.

Note: Some courses offer reduced rates for trainees. Where specified these reduced rates apply to Trainees on qualifying Art Therapy MA courses only. Rate for part-time employed is for those self-funding the course.

Application forms for these courses are in .pdf (Adobe Acrobat) format or Word format. Print pdf fprms and complete clearly by hand. You can complete WORD forms by typing into the fields and print off with the fields completed. The fields will expand to accommodate the text that you type in.

Please print out and post with your payment to BAAT office. Most computers will have an Adobe reader already installed. Click on the link to open in a new browser window or right click and download or save to a location on your computer. If you don't have Adobe Acrobat reader on your computer you can download it from here

BAAT can now process credit card payments. If you wish to pay by credit card, please post or email this form , clearly stating 'credit card payment to be made' and we will ring you for your card details.

Booking confirmation and course welcome correspondence will be sent via EMAIL and so if after sending your booking form you feel you haven't heard from us please check your junk mail just in case! (and set the BAAT email address to always allowed so future emails won't get stuck).

Please note: all BAAT events are advertised well in advance and are very popular. To avoid disappointment because the course you want to do is full, please book early. We do not reserve places until we have your application form and payment, so please plan accordingly. If you are applying through your employer or training department, please send us a copy of your application form directly as some departments have been so slow to process these that courses have been full by the time your form arrived. Do not book travel until you have received confirmation of your place from the BAAT office. Thanks.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@baat.org or sent via fax to 0207 837 7945. Cancellations made one month or before will be refunded in full minus £10 administration fee. Less than one month but more than 14 days before the course will be charged at 50%. Less than 14 days notice will be fully chargeable.
