CATT (Children's Accelerated Trauma Treatment)

LEVEL 3 – Training the Trainers

Venue: BAAT, 24 – 27 White Lion Street, London N1 9PD

Times: 9.00 am  to  5.30 pm all days
 

This course is open to delegates who have completed the Level 2 CATT training and want to deepen their knowledge of the intervention as well as develop their ability to train others in delivering CATT. The course  will provide the following outcomes:

  • In depth Knowledge of CATT
  • Ability to adapt the CATT protocol to an international audience
  • Advanced understanding of CATT as a protocol for treating PTSD
  • Understanding of Attachment and how it relates to PTSD
  • Understanding of Human Rights and Children's Rights in relation to CATT
  • Ability to consider the use of CATT in relation to complex PTSD and DID/ Multiple Personality Disorder
  • Develop confidence as a CATT Trainer
  • Become a competent trainer in the CATT technique
  • Develop skills in diplomacy and overcoming potential conflict
  • Gain support with troubleshooting topics in relation to the CATT protocol

Carly Raby (BA, MEd. Dip. Psychotherapy) Carly is a qualified psychotherapist and children's rights specialist. She has run services for children who have been permanently excluded from school, and held national posts for NGO's in the UK (Young Minds, Mental Health Foundation and Anna Freud/ EBPU) championing the rights of children and young people with mental health difficulties and enabling them to have a voice in relation services designed to improve their emotional well-being.

Please note – tea, coffee , herbal drinks and biscuits  will be provided but not lunch.

£480 (Employer funded) £380 (FT employed self funded)  £290  (PT employed – 2.5 days or less self funded only)

Booking confirmation and course welcome correspondence will be sent via EMAIL and so if after sending your booking form you feel you haven't heard from us please check your junk mail just in case! (and set the BAAT email address to always allowed so future emails won't get stuck).

Please note: all BAAT events are advertised well in advance and are very popular. To avoid disappointment because the course you want to do is full, please book early. We do not reserve places until we have your application form and payment, so please plan accordingly. If you are applying through your employer or training department, please send us a copy of your application form directly as some departments have been so slow to process these that courses have been full by the time your form arrived. Do not book travel until you have received confirmation of your place from the BAAT office. Thanks.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@baat.org or sent via fax to 0207 837 7945. Cancellations made one month or before will be refunded in full minus £10 administration fee. Less than one month but more than 14 days before the course will be charged at 50%. Less than 14 days notice will be fully chargeable
