Keynote speaker: Dr Iain McGilchrist, : author of "The Master and his Emissary: The Divided Brain and the Making of the Western World".
There has been a growing recognition and research evidence of the impact of attachments on human development, particularly from the field of Neuroscience. This conference will introduce concepts and evidence from this field and focus on the role of art in this process. Possible implications for art therapy practice and research will also be introduced. This conference is of interest to art therapists, artists in health, psychologists, psychotherapists, counsellors and other professionals within health, social care and wellbeing
